This is a stretchy navy blue sequin fabric, which we've lined with an equally stretchy, super-soft jersey down to the feet to give the dress the level of comfort it needs. Both fabrics are Italian. The fabric is cut on the bias, which lets it fall diagonally so the sequins don't look too shiny or all sit in the same position.

We know how hard it is to tell how a garment will fit before you have it in your hands, so for this dress we recommend getting your usual dress size — it's cut on the bias, so sizing up or down will make it fit more or less closely to the body. The neckline is very flattering; just let it fall wherever your body asks it to. Don't worry about comfort: the armholes, neckline and bodice are all lined.

This dress is made with a lot of love in Ana's workshop, just 7km from our store in Barcelona, and produced in limited quantities — even when a style becomes a bestseller, we don't keep making it over and over, because we want whoever owns a Luau to feel special and confident she won't run into anyone else wearing the same dress at her next wedding.

We recommend simple nude, silver or black shoes, keeping the focus on the dress. Pair it with silver earrings and no necklace. It will look great with your hair either up or straight down. If the wedding is in a church, check out the shawl option we offer — you can also get a completely different look with and without the shawl for the ceremony and the party.
