This is a lime green satin crepe. It's not just any fabric — it's the kind that shines, but only just enough, with a matte finish on top, though what makes it truly special is the exact shade we chose. We sourced it in Italy, where they let us buy it in small quantities, just enough for this production run. The way it drapes and how little it wrinkles make it perfect for your next wedding. And for the undecided: no, you don't need to be super tanned to pull off this colour.

We know how hard it is to tell how a dress will fit before you have it in your hands, so for this dress, if you're torn between two sizes, know that going one size down will fit more snugly at the back, while the other will sit looser. This dress has shape at the waist, but without cinching it — ideally it should sit loose and comfortable. It's designed for dancing, moving freely and thinking of nothing but enjoying yourself. Keep in mind you need to tie it as close to the neck as possible, so the open back won't gape at all.

This dress is made with a lot of love in Ana's workshop, just 7km from our store in Barcelona, and produced in limited quantities — even when a style becomes a bestseller, we don't keep making it over and over, because we want whoever owns a Luau to feel special and confident she won't run into anyone else wearing the same dress at her next wedding.

We love it with gold accessories — pretty earrings that draw a little attention without overshadowing the dress. Shoes could match or be a darker colour for contrast. The dress and its open back let you wear your hair up for a more sophisticated look, or down for a more natural finish.
